What is Blind Spot Sensor?

The Blind Spot Sensor is a vehicle-based sensor device that detects other vehicles to the side and rear of the driver. Warnings can be visual, audible, vibratory or tactile. However, the Blind Spot Sensor is an option that might do more than just monitor the sides and rear of the vehicle. They may also include "cross-traffic alerts," which "remind drivers to exit a parking space when traffic is approaching from the side."
